NEWPORT NEWS, Va. --Â Golden Bear grapplers saw success at the Builder Invitational Saturday where WVU Tech had five place in the Apprentice Athletic Center.

TOP FINISHES
- The team finished fifth out of 15 teams with 78.5 points.
- Ryan Turney was first at 174 lbs., finishing undefeated (4-0) with two Falls.
- At 285 lbs., Maxwell Underwood was third with a record of 3-1.
- John Berton Parks II competed at 184 lbs., finishing fourth after a record of 4-1 on the day.
- Troy Harris posted a record of 5-1 at 149 lbs. and was fifth overall.
- Jackson Evans was also fifth, finishing 4-1 at 197 lbs. for a fifth place showing.

The Golden Bears will travel to Montreat College Wednesday, January 22 for a dual.
