BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech Overwatch 2 fell in a pair of NECC Horizon Lunar Colony matchups Friday night from the Golden Bear Esports Lab, dropping 3-0 decisions to both Robert Morris University and Grand Valley State University.

Robert Morris opened the evening with a sweep over the Golden Bears, taking the series 3-0 with map scores of 2-0, 1-0 and 3-1. Grand Valley State followed with a 3-0 result of its own, winning the first two maps 1-0 before closing out the series in the third.

The losses move WVU Tech to 1-3 in NECC play after opening the season with a sweep of Purdue on Oct. 3.

Overwatch 101
Overwatch 2 is a five-on-five hero shooter where teams compete across objective-based maps. Push, Hybrid and Control maps test each squad's ability to coordinate team fights, secure objectives and manage hero compositions strategically.
