BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech esports continued ECAC Fortnite Zero Builds competition Tuesday night, with the duo of Dr.unrushed (Ryan Hayden) and TheWacki1 (Keith Karwacki) picking up more valuable points to stay in the middle of a crowded leaderboard.
The Golden Bears opened strong with a sixth-place finish in Game One, powered by two eliminations from Dr.unrushed to collect 44 points. The team followed with a 17th-place finish and one elimination in Game Two for 20 points, before closing the night in 19th place in Game Three for 14 points.
WVU Tech entered the evening ranked 37th overall out of 169 teams in the ECAC Fortnite Zero Build Duos standings with 383 points through the first five weeks of play.

Fortnite's Zero Build mode removes the game's trademark building mechanics, emphasizing accuracy, awareness and movement. Duos drop into a shrinking arena, scavenging for weapons and items while battling to outlast opponents. Points are earned through placement and eliminations, with a Victory Royale marking the ultimate finish.
