BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech's Ralph Aaron Etaba Ateba (known in-game as Wreck) rolled to a 4–0 sweep over Mortis of New England Institute of Technology on Tuesday night in ECAC Street Fighter 6 regular season play.
Etaba Ateba, who entered the match at Gold rank, used Terry Bogard to overpower Mortis' Ryu in four straight games inside the Golden Bear Esports Lab. The freshman from Ijamsville, Maryland, earned his second sweep of the season, improving to 2–3 overall.
The Golden Bears have now posted two clean home victories this fall, with Etaba Ateba also sweeping Alice Lloyd College on Oct. 7.
WVU Tech continues ECAC regular season competition next week.
