BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech esports continued ECAC Fortnite Zero Builds play Tuesday night, with the duo of Dr.unrushed (Ryan Hayden) and TheWacki1 (Keith Karwacki) competing in three rounds from the Golden Bear Esports Lab.
The Golden Bears opened strong in Game One, finishing ninth as TheWacki1 tallied three eliminations for 40 points. Tech followed with a 25th-place showing in Game Two and closed the night 16th in Game Three, highlighted by one elimination from Dr.unrushed, adding 22 points.
WVU Tech finished the evening with 64 total points after entering the night 17th overall in the ECAC Zero Build Duos standings with 143 points from Week 1.

Fortnite's Zero Build mode removes the game's trademark building mechanics, emphasizing accuracy, awareness and movement. Duos drop into a shrinking arena, scavenging for weapons and items while battling to outlast opponents. Points are earned through placement and eliminations, with a Victory Royale marking the ultimate finish.
