BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech Rainbow Six Siege dropped its NECC East A Division IV matchup Wednesday night, falling 2–0 to Endicott College inside the Golden Bear Esports Lab.
The Golden Bears — featuring Noah Tucker (bizzy.biyombo), Andrew Gwinn (amgscythe), Patrick Hilbert (Hilbert225), Shannon Fray (FrodyG), Tobias Hill (S4ladS4lad), and Ty Bock (BockShiesty) — battled through two maps against a disciplined Endicott lineup. WVU Tech showed flashes of strong coordination and resilience, especially on Chalet, but the Gulls' precise execution and late-round adjustments sealed the match.

Rainbow Six Siege 101
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person shooter by Ubisoft where teams alternate between attacking and defending bomb sites inside complex environments. Attackers use drones and breaching tools to locate and secure objectives, while defenders fortify sites with gadgets and traps. Each NECC map consists of 12 rounds, switching sides after six; the first to seven wins. Matches are best-of-three.
Program History
Rainbow Six Siege joined the WVU Tech esports lineup in Fall 2023. The Golden Bears rapidly found success, capturing the NECC Navigators Division National Championship in Spring 2024. Now competing in their third season, Tech continues to build its reputation as a disciplined and emerging contender in collegiate R6 competition.
