BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech League of Legends closed out the NECC regular season in dominant fashion Thursday night, sweeping Mississippi State 2–0 to secure the No. 2 seed in the DVII East B playoffs. The Golden Bears improved to 5–1 in conference play and 7–1 overall, officially clinching a quarterfinal berth next week.
Game One (WVU Tech wins 24–3)
Tech opened the night with complete control behind a well-rounded draft of Caitlyn (Bean), Vi (Almightyfoot), Xerath (breathless lol), Neeko (Hilbert), and Ornn (NinjaRemover).
- Dakota P. Dietz (NinjaRemover) commanded the front line as Ornn, posting a clean 4/1/7.
- Anthony Biley (Almightyfoot1221) surged through the jungle with Vi, finishing 9/2/4.
- Benjamin Lowe (Bean) dealt consistent damage on Caitlyn, contributing 6/0/13.
