Wrestling finishes regular season with duals at Liberty and Salem

SALEM, W.Va. -- WVU Tech wrestling competed at Liberty University Thursday then traveled to Salem University Saturday to finish its regular season schedule.

NOTES

The team finished 5-2 in duals, beginning the season November 2.
At Liberty, Troy Harris (149 lbs.) earned a fall and Ryan Turney (174 lbs.) recorded a 13-6 decision.
Jayden Rouse (125 lbs.) pinned his opponent at Salem after 1:32.
Turney posted a major decision (20-6) in his dual Saturday.
Tech's final points of the week went to Jackson Evans (197 lbs.) with a decision (6-3) at Salem.

NEXT UP
The Golden Bears will compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship in Marietta, Ga. February 21-22.
