WVU Tech falls in Rainbow Six Siege to New England College

BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech Rainbow Six Siege opened NECC East A Division IV play Wednesday night, falling 2-0 to New England College in a best-of-three series from the Golden Bear Esports Lab.

The Pilgrims controlled the match with coordinated executes and utility usage, while Tech showed flashes of fight. Senior Shannon Fray (FrodyG) of Gulfport, Miss., led the Golden Bears with 7 kills and 2 assists across the series, while sophomore Andrew Gwinn (amgscythe) of Beckley, W.Va. added steady support in multiple rounds.
