BECKLEY, W.Va. - WVU Tech League of Legends picked up two NECC Division VI (East B) sweeps over the last week, earning 2-0 wins against Widener University (Feb. 7) and Mercyhurst University (Feb. 12).

Game 1 - WVU Tech 40, Widener 39
WVU Tech opened the night by surviving a back-and-forth, high-action first game, edging Widener 40-39 behind steady damage output and strong late-game teamfights.

Tech set the tone early in the opener, building a sizable advantage and finishing the first map with a 35-10 win. The Golden Bears generated 72 total assists and kept pressure on Mercyhurst across the map.

Mercyhurst pushed back in Game 2, but WVU Tech stayed composed and closed out the sweep with a 31-16 victory. Hilbert and breathless lol paced the finish as the Golden Bears won key fights in the mid-to-late game.
