BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech's Ralph Aaron Etaba Ateba (Wreck) dropped a 4-2 decision to SUNY Fredonia's FreeMind716 on Tuesday night in ECAC Street Fighter 6 regular season play inside the Golden Bear Esports Lab.
Etaba Ateba traded wins throughout the set and claimed two games in the best-of-seven format, but SUNY Fredonia closed out the match with four total wins to take the team result.
Wreck opened the season Feb. 3 with a 4-0 sweep over North Carolina Wesleyan University's ZvPsychedeliix before dropping a 4-0 decision to Northern Kentucky University's ConArtist on Feb. 10. With Tuesday's result, and is now 1-2 overall in ECAC play this spring.
