BECKLEY, W.Va. - WVU Tech Marvel Rivals continued its strong NECC run Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep of UNC Charlotte inside the Golden Bear Esports Lab. The Golden Bears controlled each map from start to finish, using balanced pressure and strong support play to extend their winning streak.
WVU Tech improved to five straight match victories with the win.
🕹 Game One - Domination
The Golden Bears set the tone early by controlling the objective and forcing UNC Charlotte into defensive fights throughout the map.
Ty Bock (BockShiesty) earned MVP honors with 30 eliminations, 15 final hits, 25,145 damage and 32,788 damage blocked.
Wyatt Plumley (Plum_) added 27 eliminations and 15 final hits while leading the team with 32,110 damage. Jordan Green (JrdnNextDoor) finished with 27 eliminations and 14,906 healing, while Tyler Vines (Typoint5) recorded 25 assists and 15,380 healing. Noah Tucker (bizzy.biyombo) contributed 20 eliminations and 30 assists, and Benjamin Cogar (l3ennii) posted 24 eliminations with 32 assists and 19,943 healing.

WVU Tech kept the momentum rolling in the second map with an explosive offensive performance that overwhelmed UNC Charlotte's defensive setup.
BockShiesty once again earned MVP honors after posting 47 eliminations, 14 final hits, 33,902 damage and 35,341 damage blocked.
Green added 44 eliminations and 15 final hits while totaling 38,376 damage. Plum_ finished with 40 eliminations and added 7,080 healing. Tucker delivered 46 eliminations and 42 assists, while Vines recorded 27 assists and 14,491 healing. Cogar continued to anchor the backline with 37 eliminations, 35 assists and 20,316 healing.

The Golden Bears closed out the match with another steady performance, maintaining control of key engagements to complete the sweep.
BockShiesty secured his third MVP of the night with 30 eliminations, 13 final hits, 14,498 damage and 26,709 damage blocked.
Green added 30 eliminations and 10 final hits, while Tucker recorded 30 eliminations and eight final hits. Plum_ finished with 28 eliminations, 10 final hits and 14,207 healing. Vines produced 21 assists and 11,690 healing, and Cogar added 21 assists with 12,902 healing.
