BECKLEY, W.Va. — WVU Tech esports continued ECAC Fortnite Build Duos play Thursday night inside the Golden Bear Esports Lab, posting 76 points across three matches behind the duo of Mune (Brayden Hanshew) and karl1x (Karl Hoppe).
Using the official ECAC scoring system (placement points plus 2 points per elimination), Tech's duo totaled 76 points for the night, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the final match of the evening.
Entering Thursday's competition, WVU Tech sat 44th on the ECAC Build Duos leaderboard with 358 points. The Golden Bears' updated placement will be reflected once the ECAC refreshes the official leaderboard to include Thursday's results.
