Personal: Son of Paulo Ignacio and Amanda Alves...majoring in civil engineering.

At Tech: Earned NAIA All-American honors...the River States Conference champion and record holder for the 100 Breast and 200 Breast...school record-holder for the 100 and 200 Breast and the 100 IM...helped lead team to Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships (2017 and 2018)...earned the Civil Engineering Outstanding Freshman of the Year award...belongs to Tau Beta Pi...a resident assistant.

High School: Graduated from Colegio Jean Piaget of Santos, SP - Brazil in 2015...state champion (SP) in the 100m and 200m breaststroke...state record holder in the 100m breaststroke...all-Brazilian in the 100m and 200m breaststroke.
