Originally an interim co-coach, he is now the head coach for Tech’s esports teams, and works with team captains to coordinate competitions, formulate game strategies and manage each individual team under the esports umbrella. Under Korey’s guidance, WVU Tech’s Overwatch, Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teams have earned their first competitive victories in NACE’s respective game tournaments.

Korey has long been a gaming enthusiast and jumped at the opportunity to get involved when he learned about WVU Tech’s plans to create an esports program. He is a graduate of Concord University with a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing.
