Hosey enters his third season at at WVU Tech, promoted to head coach January 2024, after graduating from West Liberty University in May 2022 with a masters in education (coaching and sports leadership). He received his bachelors degree from the same university in athletic training in May of 2020.
Hosey has helped lead three Golden Bears to program records including Nathan Morton in the 10k in the spring of 2023 and Carmen Camino Falcon in the 1k, mile and 3k during the 2022-2023 indoor track season. Then helped coach her to break the school records for the 1500 and 3k steeplechase during the 2023 outdoor track season. During the 2023-2024 indoor season she was able to break the school records for the 600, 800, mile, and the 5000. The third athlete is Owen Keeney who set a new school record for the High Jump for Indoor and Outdoor track during his freshman year here.
Jordan was a member of the track & field and cross country teams at West Liberty during his entire college career. Hosey's most notable achievements as a college athlete included getting seventh place in the steeplechase at the conference meet.
Hobbies for Hosey, besides running, are following sports such as football, basketball and soccer and watching movies.
