Freshman guard Elizabeth Evans has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for February 26-March 5.

The Golden Bears split this past week, 1-1 with a victory over Washington Adventist University (75-59) and a loss to Bluefield College (Va.) to take their record to 9-13.

Evans combined for 24 points this week, including five three-pointers, five assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

The Williamson, W. Va. native is averaging 10.1 points per game and has scored in double-digits for Tech 10 times this season including a 16 point effort against Bluefield.
