Senior outfielder Emily Geldbach has been named the Golden Bear Star Performer for March 5-12.

The team dropped a pair of games against the University of Northwestern (Oh.) losing game one 12-8 before ending the series with a 13-6 defeat to the Racers.

Geldbach tallied seven hits, scoring three runs to pace the Golden Bears. Geldbach went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in game one against the Racers.

The Spokane, Wa. native ended the 2013 season with a batting average of .301.
