Amy Gardner (Medina, OH):

Gardner also remained a steady presence of the Golden Bears this past week, leading Tech against the University of Pikeville with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists in an 86-71 home victory.  Earlier in the week, she again led the Golden Bears with 23 points and 3 rebounds in 96-87 overtime loss against UVA-Wise at home.

Amy currently leads the women’s squad in points per game average with 18.37 per game and owns a 41% field goal percentage on the season.  She has also pulled in 141 rebounds on the season to lead the Golden Bears on the boards with a 7.42 rebounds per game average.

Currently, Gardner ranks eighth in NAIA DI in total scoring with 349 points on the season and tenth in points per game.  Amy also currently ranks seventeenth in NAIA DI in total three point field goals made on the season with 41 and thirtieth in three point field goals made per game with 2.15.
