Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for January 26 - February 5, 2021 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Juvante' Hayes (men's basketball) and sophomore Brianna Ball (women's basketball) headline this week's honors.

Hayes, a native of Cocoa, Florida, totaled 41 points over three games for the Gold and Blue, hitting double-digits in each contest.

He also recorded 12 rebounds to go with three steals and three assists.

Hayes averages 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game this season.
