Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for December 6-12, 2021 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomore Alanis Hill (women's basketball) and senior Tamon Scruggs (men's basketball) highlight this week's honors.

Hill, who hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, had a team-best 36 points after two contests last week. The sophomore also led the way for the Gold and Blue with 11 rebounds, nine assists and three steals.

Scruggs led the Golden Bears with 42 points over two games including a perfect 11-for-11 effort from the bonus line. The South Charleston, West Virginia native also posted 12 rebounds and eight assists.
