Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for February 14-20, 2022 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Seniors Gregory Panther and Annmarie Gruttadauro of track and field highlight this week's honors.

Panther finished on top of the podium in the 1,000m run after hustling to a time of 2:38.54 during the Indoor Track and Field River States Conference Championship. The senior also helped lead the 4x400m relay (5th) and the distance medley relay (7th) while earning All-Conference honors for the 1,000m finish.

Gruttadauro finished second in the 3,000m race walk, posting a time of 19:40.30 during the River States Conference Championship. The senior earned All-Conference accolades for the podium showing during the championship.
