Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for August 29 - September 4, 2022 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Madison Boswell (volleyball) and sophomore Ana Gay Mesa (women's soccer) highlight this week's honors.

A native of Ronceverte, West Virginia, Boswell averaged 3.2 kills per set over three matches towards a total of 32. The freshman also picked up four digs and had two blocks for the Gold and Blue.
