Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for September 12-18, 2022 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Freshman Bryson Beaver (golf) and senior Nathan Morton highlight this week's honors.

A native of Elkview, West Virginia, Beaver led the Golden Bears in both tournaments last week including an All-Tournament showing during the Fincastle Invitational. The freshman was ninth at +11 with a 151, recording a 75 then a 76 during the Fincastle Invite and ended sixth overall during the AU Fall Invite with a two-round score of 148.
