Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for September 26 - October 2, 2022 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Seniors Brooklyn Cook (volleyball) and Pau Eslava (men's swimming) highlight the week's honors.

A native of Barcelona, Spain, Eslava led the Golden Bears in their first meet of the season, finishing with a total of 27 points as Tech defeated Shawnee State 166-89. He finished first in the 200 IM, 200 Fly and the 200 Back.
