Biography

Personal: Son of Mar Ivern and Ricard Eslava...majoring in mechanical engineering.

At Tech: named Freshman of the Year in the River States Conference...finished runner-up in conference in the 400 IM...helped lead team to runner-up showing in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (2018-19)...helped team win the DII Spanish Kings Cup in 2018...member of ACM...sophomore season qualified for nationals in 400 IM, 200 IM, 200 Fly and 1650 Free, posting a career-best swim of 1.56.01...Holds the fastest times of WVU Tech’s season 2019-2020 in 50, 100, and 200 Back, 200 Fly and 400 IM. In AAC Conference (2018-2019 season) achieved runner-up in the 400 IM and in 2019-2020 in the AAC conference achieved runner-up in 400 IM and third in the 200 and 400 medley relays...a resident assistant in Hogan and captain of the team.

High School: Graduated from FEDAC Horta of Barcelona, Spain in 2018...participated in swimming and water polo...holds the record in Barcelona for the 200 Fly...a three-time fourth place finisher at the Spanish Championship...swam for Club Natació Barcelona D2 Champions...was in the top 100 in the Spanish Physics Olympics.
