Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for December 18-24, 2023 were announced Thursday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomore Alva Hedrich (women's basketball) and junior Darrin Martin (men's basketball) highlight the week's honors.

Martin (business management) came off the bench and was perfect from the floor, 7-for-7, towards 15 points as Tech defeated Mid-Atlantic Christian 113-46. The redshirt junior also had five assists and two boards.
