Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for November 11-17, 2024 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Brooke Presley (volleyball and sophomore Braden Chapman (men's basketball) highlight the week's honors.

Presley, who hails from Shady Spring, W.Va., led the back row with 23 digs in a quarterfinal match of the River States Conference (RSC) Championship at University of Rio Grande. The senior also tallied three assists and a service ace.

A native of Beaver, W.Va., Chapman led the Golden Bears in scoring totals against No. 5 Georgetown and (RV) Bethel after a 12-for-27 effort from the floor and 13-for-15 showing at the foul line towards 40 points. He also had nine boards and five steals.
