Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for December 9-29, 2024 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Junior Brooklyn Davis (women's basketball) and senior Darrin Martin (men's basketball) highlight the week's honors.

Davis, a native of Kansas City, Mo., poured in 17 points including a perfect 5-for-5 effort from the foul line in Tech's game against Bluefield State University. 

Martin, who hails from Bluefield, W.Va., totaled 51 points to go with 15 rebounds and seven assists over three games. He also finished at 100 percent (14-for-14) from the bonus line.
