Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for March 31 - April 6, 2025 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior McKayla Bartley (women's track & field) and sophomore Corbyn Cunningham (men's track & field) highlight the week's honors.

Bartley, who hails from Pahrump, Nev., now holds the program record in the hammer throw after a 33.06m mark during the Golden Eagle Invitational. The senior threw 24.04m in the discus and 8.90m in the shot put.

Cunningham, a Hamersville, Ohio native, finished on top of the podium in the pole vault with a 3.35m showing. The mark established at the Golden Eagle Invitational is now the school record.
