Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for August 11-17, 2025 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Peydon Smith (volleyball) and sophomore Anaís González (volleyball) highlight the week's honors.

Smith, who hails from Beaver, W.Va., helped lead the backrow defense with 4.27 digs per set over four matches towards a total of 47. Smith also tallied five assists and four service aces.
