Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for August 11-17, 2025 were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Senior Peydon Smith (volleyball) and sophomore Anaís González (volleyball) highlight the week's honors.

González, a Caguas, Puerto Rico native, dished out 63 (5.25/set) assists for the Golden Bears during the four-match tournament. The sophomore also had 34 digs and three kills.
