Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for August 25-31, 2025 were announced Tuesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomore Lexie Wikel (women's cross country) and senior Luka Felix (men's soccer) highlight the week's honors.

Wikel, who hails from Mullens ,W.Va., opened the season with a personal record in the 5k during the Thundering Herd Invitational, crossing with a time of 22:50.67.
