Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for September 15–21, 2025, were announced Monday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Earning the spotlight this week are sophomore Sean Cooper (golf) and freshman Aniston Treadway (volleyball).

Cooper, from Jumping Branch, West Virginia, claimed medalist honors at the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational. He fired rounds of 69, 74 and 74 to finish at 1-over-par 217 and top an 87-player field, leading the Golden Bears to a fifth-place team finish in the competitive 15-team event.
