The WVU Tech Athletic Department has announced its Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for February 9-15, 2026. This week’s honors go to freshman Isaac Agee (indoor track and field) and sophomore Carmine Bernardo (swimming) following standout performances at the Joe LaRocco Invitational and the AAC Swimming Championships.

Isaac Agee (Hines, W.Va.)
Agee turned in a huge meet at the Joe LaRocco Invitational, winning the men’s 60-meter hurdles in 8.28 to break his own school record. The time also ranked No. 30 in the NAIA at the time of the meet. Earlier in the day, Agee reset the WVU Tech school record in the 60-meter dash with a 7.22 in the semifinals, and he added a podium finish in the long jump by placing third at 6.74 meters.
