Junior Alyssa Capon has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for September 15-21, 2015.

Capon marked the first hat trick of her career in the 6-0 shutout win over conference foe Midway University before scoring a goal in the 2-0 shutout victory over Warren Wilson College this past week.

The centerback and Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native leads the Golden Bears with five goals so far in 2015.

The daughter of Todd and Dana Capon is majoring in business management at WVU Tech.
