Gomez took home second in the 1,650 Freestyle after a time and PR of 15:51.37. The Toledo, Spain native also helped lead the 800 Freestyle Relay team of Paulo Ignacio, Jr., Felipe Ruiz and Manuel Serrano Laguna to a sixth place finish with a time of 6:53.30.

The men finished seventh in the nation, climbing three spots from last season while gaining eight All-Americans including Gomez.
