Freshman Caitlin Foster has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for October 6-13, 2015.

Foster found the back of the net in the 79^th minute off the assist from senior Jessica Guzman to give the Golden Bears the advantage, 1-0 and the eventual victory over conference foe Asbury University for the win in the KIAC Game of the Week.

The Wellington, New Zealand native also posted six shots, three on goal in the 4-0 victory Tech earned against Washington Adventist University this week.

The daughter of Linda and Graham Mackereth is majoring in physical education teaching and coaching at WVU Tech.
