Junior Shelby Swiney has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for October 29 - November 2, 2015.

Swiney is a defender and starter for WVU Tech women's soccer. The Sissonville, West Virginia native helps lead the defense that has marked 11 wins this season including seven shutouts while allowing just three goals in Tech's last five match-ups.

The daughter of Stacy Shamblin is studying business management at WVU Tech.
