Junior Francine Meyer has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for January 27 - February 2, 2016.

The team of Meyer, senior Shannon Wiercioch, freshman Isabela Kiesewetter Zandavalli and sophomore Kendra Monnin clocked a time of 3:57.58 winning the 400 Free Relay.

The 50 Free featured Meyer swimming a 25.67 for a first place finish. The São Roque, Brazil native also captured the top spot in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:24.58.

The daughter of Namat L. M. Sanchez and Paulo H. Sanchez is majoring in athletic coaching education at WVU Tech.
