Freshman Rachel Rusch has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for March 10-15, 2016.

WVU Tech split a doubleheader with Bluefield College Saturday and Rusch marked five hits including a perfect 3-for-3 effort in game two.

During game one, the daughter of Patti and John Rusch posted a triple while marking two hits and a run scored. In the night cap, the Chesapeake, Virginia native had three hits, three runs scored and a RBI.
