Freshman Daniel Lynch has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for March 23-30, 2016.

Lynch threw towards a first place finish in the shot put (13.36 m) and second place finish in the discus throw (37.77 m) at the University of Charleston Relays last Saturday.

The team finished with fourth out of five teams with a team score of 49. Lynch produced 18 of those team points with his individual finishes.

The son of Chris and Shirley Lynch hails from Selah, Washington and is studying mechanical engineering at WVU Tech.
