Freshman Matt Ryan has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for October 6-13, 2015.

Ryan finished second overall, out of 115 golfers, at the 2015 United States Intercollegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Golf National Championships earning him first team All-American accolades.

The Ballarat, Victoria, Australia native led the Golden Bears, carding a 73 on day one and a 74 in round two for a total score of 147 (+3).

The son of Liz and Anthony Ryan is studying accounting at WVU Tech.
