Junior Mackenzie Wilson has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for April 19-26, 2016.

Wilson recorded a season-high ten strike outs in Tech's 13-5 win over Ohio Christian University. The Owings Mills, Maryland native pitched a complete game and recorded the win in the circle after scattering six hits and five earned runs while walking two Trailblazers.

The junior threw from the circle for 3.2 innings in the loss against No. 24 University of Rio Grande and was able to retire five RedStorm batters via strikes.

The daughter of Donny and Jeanine is majoring in mechanical engineering at WVU Tech.
