Golden Bear Athletes of the Week for October 17-23, 2022 were announced Wednesday by the WVU Tech Athletic Department. Sophomore Lukas Lange (golf) and freshman Emanuele Bossi (men's soccer) highlight the week's honors.

Lange, who hails from Ludwigsburg Baden-Württemberg, Germany, helped the Golden Bears to a third place team finish during the Roger Merb Invitational October 17-18. The sophomore finished T10th out of 47 golfers with a two-round score of 153 (+9).

A native of Gallarate, Italy, Bossi recorded (RV) WVU Tech's winning goal at Point Park University as the Golden Bears earned the shutout River States Conference win 1-0. The assist was posted by freshman Enrique Ezquerro Lopez.
