Junior Jayson Sykora has been named a Golden Bear Star Performer of the Week for May 4-10, 2016.

Sykora scattered 11 hits and improved to 7-1 by limiting Brescia to just three runs over nine innings of work in Tech's 17-3 win during KIAC Tournament play. The Spencer, Ohio native struck out four and walked one in the complete game.

The son of Jay and Lisa Sykora is majoring in mechanical engineering as a Golden Bear.
