Jacquelyn Wood (Anchorage, AK) also helped her team grab a victory against a Mid-South Conference opponent last week. Wood struck out 9 and allowed only 5 hits in seven innings pitched against Pikeville to earn her second victory of the season. The freshman from Anchorage, Alaska also added 2 hits, a stolen base, and a rbi against the Bears.

The award is Jacquelyn’s first of the season.
