Senior Michala Dean has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for October 28 - November 3, 2016.

Dean marked her 1,000th career dig in the win over Bluefield College Thursday.

The Algoma, Wisconsin native picked up 78 digs last week towards her total of 648 this season as a libero.
