Sophomore Zjhane West has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for December 1-7, 2016.

West combined for 23 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists last week in River States Conference play including a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds against Point Park University.

The daughter of Rejetta Briggs averages 11.45 points, 5.55 rebounds and 3.45 assists per game.
