Senior Brooke Gee has been named a Golden Bear Athlete of the Week for April 14-20, 2017 for the second time this season.

The women were led by the third place finish of Gee in the shot put who had a massive personal-best throw of 12.95 meters (42'6").

The Ashland, Kentucky native went on to place fifth in the javelin while also securing eighth place in both the hammer and discus.
